many of you know that we love thai food. and many of you know that we love pad see ew. well, no more take out for us.
i "discovered" chinatown today. well actually, i just walked about two blocks from our apartment to a place i always knew existed but to which i had never ventured. and i found sydney's asian IGA (grocery store) and thus all the ingredients - fresh wide rice noodles, fresh tofu, sweet soy sauce, sesame oil, and kai-lan (aka, chinese broccoli) - to make my own version of pad see ew.
i know - these aren't exactly the most exotic ingredients but it took going to chinatown to inspire me. and damn were they some good noodles. see...

Pretty pretty. One of my favorite food bloggers is thai, and she is actually getting a lot of attention now (she was just a judge on iron chef america!) Anyway, I just looked to see if she did a pad see ew recipe, and she did!

So I live in Kentucky, and was hoping for some advice! I'm getting married in October, and my fiance and I are looking to move to Sydney...but I have no idea where to begin! Anyway, just hoping to get some good advice, as it seems you all are enjoying yourselves immensely, and we want to do the same!
